I designed this beautiful eagle gourd after the attack of 9/11.  It is woodburned and then painted with Gilders Paste paints.  It was featured in the American Gourd Society magazine and also is featured on the Gilders Paste website, with complete instructions. www.gilderspaste.com   Original design by Kay.

Woven top gourd.  I learned this technique at the annual Cherokee Gourd Gathering held each June in Cherokee, NC.  Wonderful event; plan to attend!  check out the website www.gourdgathering.net for more information.  This gourd won a purple ribbon at the fair 10/2007
